Frequently asked online coaching questions
What is the difference between coaching and psychotherapy? Coaching and psychotherapy are not the same, nor is coaching a substitute for psychotherapy. In business coaching, the client, with the help of the coach, defines the desired professional goal, identifies potential obstacles and a concrete plan for achieving the goal. Although I use some psychotherapeutic knowledge and tools in my work, the emphasis is on time-limited work on a topic or topics related to the business context.
How many sessions does it take to see results? The number of sessions varies depending on your specific goals and the effort you put in. Some clients see progress within 2-3 sessions, while others may benefit from longer-term coaching.
How often are the coaching sessions? We’ll schedule sessions that fit your needs, whether it's weekly, bi-weekly, or on an as-needed basis. For more intensive approach, I recommend my upcoming online program, "Your Career, Your Choice."
What if I need to cancel my session? You can cancel up to 24 hours in advance without any charge and sign-up for a new timslot. Cancellations made less than 24 hours before the session will be considered as completed and charged.
Do I need to do anything between sessions? If you want better results - yes! The key to progress is applying what we discuss during our sessions to your everyday life. I’ll provide you with specific tasks and action items to work on between meetings.
What are the payment options? Payment is done before your session, with direct deposit to my account. By the end of our session, you will receive your receipt.
Is there an option of a refund? Refunds are only possible if the coach cancels the session. It is the responsibility of the coach to perform his service at the agreed time (with the possibility of cancellation due to unforeseen circumstances within the shortest period of 24 hours). If the client cancels the appointment, and the payment has already been made, a new appointment is arranged. Refunds are not possible for the online program "Your career, your choice".
Can I gift coaching session to someone else? Of course! For this option, reach out to info@qthentic.com and I will prepare a gift card for you.
Is there a guarantee that I will get the desired results? Coaching is just a tool, and a coach is a support, so change can only come from the client. That is exactly why the client himself is responsible for the results. It is the responsibility of the coach to assess whether they and the client are a good "fit", and that is what free consultations are for.
